Responsibilities

Pipe Fitter

Installation and Maintenance

• Install, assemble, and repair piping systems for industrial, commercial, or residential purposes.
• Inspect pipes for damages and replace defective components as necessary.
• Ensure proper alignment, fittings, and supports for secure piping systems.

Blueprint Interpretation

• Read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and piping system plans.

Welding and Cutting

• Perform welding, brazing, threading, and cutting operations to connect pipes.
• Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, bend, and install pipes.

Testing and Troubleshooting

• Conduct pressure tests to identify leaks or weaknesses in piping systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pipe systems and equipment.
