Responsibilities

1. Quality Control Oversight

• Supervise daily quality control operations, including product inspections, testing, and sampling procedures.
• Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure that raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods comply with established specifications and standards.

2. Team Supervision and Training

• Lead and mentor a team of QC inspectors, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
• Organize training sessions to ensure the team is well-versed in quality control protocols and best practices.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring proper resource allocation and productivity.

3. Inspection and Testing

• Conduct regular inspections of materials and production processes to identify defects or deviations.
• Oversee the use and maintenance of testing equipment and ensure its calibration.
• Document and report test results, providing recommendations for corrective actions when necessary.

4. Compliance and Documentation

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards such as ISO, GMP, or other relevant certifications.
• Maintain accurate records of quality control processes, inspection results, and corrective actions.
• Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and other stakeholders.

5. Problem Resolution and Continuous Improvement

• Investigate and resolve quality issues, collaborating with production and engineering teams to identify root causes.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality concerns and minimize recurrence.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance overall product quality and efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a quality control or assurance role, with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards and methodologies such as Six Sigma, ISO 9001, or similar frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using quality management tools and software.
