Key Responsibilities

  1. Implementation and Maintenance of CAFM Systems
    The Technical Specialist will manage the installation, configuration, and upkeep of the CAFM system, ensuring it meets the operational needs of facility management. This includes setting up asset hierarchies, configuring maintenance workflows, and ensuring accurate data inputs for work orders, asset tracking, and preventive maintenance scheduling. You will be responsible for troubleshooting any system issues and ensuring seamless system functionality to support facility management goals.
  2. Digitization of Facility Management Workflows
    In this role, the specialist will drive the digitization of facility management processes, transforming manual and paper-based workflows into streamlined digital operations. This includes digitizing asset records, maintenance schedules, and facility documentation to increase efficiency and reduce manual errors. Through digitization, the specialist will enhance operational transparency, improve access to facility data, and support real-time monitoring of maintenance activities.
  3. Data Analytics and Reporting
    The Technical Specialist will use data analytics tools within the CAFM system to generate reports and insights that support data-driven decision-making. You will analyze trends in asset performance, maintenance history, and resource utilization, providing valuable insights to facility managers. Regular reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintenance metrics will support continuous improvement efforts and help optimize facility resources.
  4. Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Support
    A critical aspect of this role is to use the CAFM system to plan and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance activities. By leveraging the system’s capabilities, you will optimize maintenance schedules to reduce equipment downtime, increase reliability, and extend the life of assets. You will also implement predictive maintenance strategies, using data analysis to anticipate maintenance needs and proactively address issues.
  5. System Training and User Support
    The Technical Specialist will provide technical support and training to facility management staff on using the CAFM system and digital tools. This includes creating user guides, conducting training sessions, and offering on-demand support to ensure staff can effectively use the digital solutions. By enhancing user understanding and confidence, you will support a smooth transition to digitized workflows and optimize system utilization.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience with CAFM systems, facility management, or digital transformation in technical roles
  • Proficiency in CAFM software (such as Archibus, FM
    , Planon) and data analytics tools
  • Strong understanding of maintenance management and asset lifecycle processes
  • Experience in digitizing facility management processes and data analytics for reporting
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills for training and cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and adapt to rapidly changing digital tools
