Temenos Developer Required in Saudi Arabia

The Temenos Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining solutions using the Temenos banking software suite. This role involves working with various modules of Temenos, including T24, to enhance system functionalities and support the organization’s financial services. The Temenos Developer will collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements, create technical specifications, and implement solutions that align with strategic goals. This position requires strong programming skills, a deep understanding of banking operations, and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize existing applications.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development and Customization

• Design, develop, and implement new functionalities and enhancements within the Temenos T24 environment, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
• Customize existing Temenos applications and modules to meet specific client needs, employing best coding practices and methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into technical specifications for development.

Testing and Quality Assurance

• Conduct thorough testing of developed applications, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure quality and performance.
• Identify and resolve defects or issues in the code during the testing phase, ensuring applications function smoothly and efficiently.
• Document testing procedures and results, maintaining detailed records to support quality assurance efforts and compliance with industry standards.

System Maintenance and Support

• Provide ongoing support for Temenos applications, including troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues as they arise.
• Monitor system performance and recommend optimizations to improve application efficiency and user experience.
• Stay current with updates and new releases of the Temenos software, implementing necessary changes and enhancements to existing systems.

Collaboration and Documentation

• Work closely with business analysts and project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting all functional requirements.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and deployment guides to support system users and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Participate in training sessions for end-users and team members, sharing expertise on Temenos applications and best practices.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications in Temenos development are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software development, specifically within the Temenos banking suite or similar financial services applications.
• Skills: Proficient in programming languages such as Java, SQL, or similar; strong understanding of Temenos T24 architecture and development frameworks; experience with API integrations and web services.
• Attributes: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
