Inspection and Testing

One of the core responsibilities of a QA/QC Engineer is conducting and supervising inspections and tests at various stages of production or construction. This includes material inspections, dimensional checks, welding inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT), and final product or system tests. The engineer ensures that all inspection procedures are carried out in accordance with established quality standards, such as ISO, ASME, or client-specific codes. If any discrepancies or non-conformities are identified, the QA/QC Engineer ensures corrective actions are taken to resolve them.

Compliance and Standards
