Key Responsibilities
1. Oracle EBS Implementation and Configuration
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and customization of Oracle EBS financial modules such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define system objectives, and map out financial processes to align with Oracle EBS capabilities.
- Perform end-to-end system configuration, including setting up accounting rules, ledger configurations, tax setups, and reporting requirements.
2. Business Analysis and Solution Design
- Conduct detailed business analysis to identify gaps in the current financial processes and recommend enhancements or new solutions using Oracle EBS.
- Develop functional specifications, design documents, and process flow diagrams to outline proposed solutions.
- Work closely with the technical team to ensure the successful development of customizations and reports, aligning with business needs.
3. System Support and Troubleshooting
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Oracle EBS financial modules, ensuring smooth operation and timely resolution of issues.
- Troubleshoot system errors, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize disruptions to business operations.
- Assist in performing system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring compliance with Oracle’s latest standards and best practices.
4. User Training and Documentation
- Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions to ensure a high level of user adoption and competency in using Oracle EBS financial modules.
- Create detailed user manuals, process documentation, and knowledge base articles to support users in their daily operations.
- Provide post-implementation support, guiding users in the effective utilization of system features and addressing any issues or queries.
5. Project Management and Stakeholder Collaboration
- Participate in project planning, timeline estimation, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery of Oracle EBS finance projects.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the IT team, facilitating clear communication and understanding of project requirements and goals.
- Monitor project progress, report on milestones, and proactively address any issues or risks that may impact project delivery.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), particularly in finance modules (AP, AR, GL, FA, Cash Management).
- Proven experience in implementing and configuring Oracle EBS financial modules in a business environment.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and provide effective solutions.
- Experience in project management, including requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and user training.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Oracle EBS certification in Financial Modules is preferred.
