Delivery Driver Required in Dubai

The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely from the distribution point to customers or designated locations. This role involves planning delivery routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the quality of the transported items. Delivery Drivers play a critical role in customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and handling goods responsibly. The position requires a valid driver’s license, good time-management skills, and a commitment to adhering to traffic laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

Efficient and Safe Transportation

• Pick up and deliver goods to customers or specified destinations while adhering to delivery schedules.
• Ensure the safe handling and transportation of items, preventing damage or loss during transit.
• Follow assigned routes and use navigation tools to determine the most efficient path.

Vehicle Maintenance and Inspection

• Conduct regular inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or maintenance needs to the relevant department promptly.
• Keep the vehicle clean and organized to ensure a professional appearance and safe working conditions.

Customer Service

• Interact politely and professionally with customers while delivering goods.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns and escalate any issues to the appropriate department if necessary.
• Obtain delivery confirmations and ensure accurate documentation of completed deliveries.

Adherence to Policies and Regulations

• Comply with all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries.
• Handle sensitive or perishable items according to company standards and protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information and ensure proper handling of delivery records.

Loading and Unloading

• Assist with loading and unloading goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper stacking and securing of items.
• Verify delivery items against order details to ensure accuracy.
• Return undelivered items or documents to the distribution center as required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of local traffic routes and ability to use GPS or navigation apps effectively.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items if necessary.
