Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Support in Sales Process:
    • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and project requirements.
    • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to clients during the sales process.
    • Assist in preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations to clients.
  2. Solution Design and Proposal Development:
    • Design ELV systems that meet client specifications, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, PA systems, and other related technologies.
    • Develop detailed technical proposals, including system architecture, hardware and software specifications, and integration plans.
    • Prepare bill of materials (BOM), cost estimates, and project timelines to support the sales proposal.
  3. Client Requirement Analysis:
    • Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather information about existing infrastructure and client requirements.
    • Analyze client needs and propose customized ELV solutions that address their specific challenges.
    • Ensure that proposed solutions are scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with industry standards.
  4. Bid and Tender Support:
    • Participate in bid and tender processes by providing technical input and documentation.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to respond to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and RFQs (Requests for Quotations).
    • Ensure that all technical aspects of bids are accurate, competitive, and comply with client requirements.
  5. Vendor and Partner Collaboration:
    • Work with vendors and technology partners to source and select the most suitable products and solutions for ELV projects.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest ELV technologies and products in the market.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and technology partners.
  6. Project Handover and Support:
    • Assist in the handover of secured projects to the implementation and project management teams.
    • Provide ongoing technical support and clarification to the implementation team during the project lifecycle.
    • Ensure that the project scope and design are clearly communicated to all stakeholders.
  7. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed records of all presales activities, including client communications, proposals, and technical documentation.
    • Prepare regular reports on presales activities, project pipeline, and proposal status for management review.
    • Document lessons learned and best practices to improve future presales processes.
  8. Continuous Learning and Development:
    • Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in ELV systems and technologies.
    • Participate in training sessions, workshops, and certifications to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
    • Share knowledge with the team and contribute to the development of presales best practices.
  9. Compliance and Standards:
    • Ensure that all proposed solutions comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
    • Keep abreast of changes in regulations and standards that may impact ELV projects.
    • Incorporate compliance requirements into the design and proposal process.
  10. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
    • Follow up with clients after proposals are submitted to address any questions or concerns.
    • Support the sales team in negotiations and closing deals by providing technical expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in presales engineering, specifically in ELV systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, fire alarms).
  • Strong technical knowledge of ELV systems, including design, integration, and implementation.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, MS Office Suite, and project management tools.
