Logistics Coordinator Required in Dubai

A Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the supply chain process to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of goods and services. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, customers, and transportation providers to meet organizational and client demands. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential to excel in this position.

Responsibilities

Transportation and Delivery Management

• Plan, schedule, and oversee the transportation of goods to ensure on-time delivery.
• Track shipments and address any delivery issues or delays promptly with relevant stakeholders.

Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain adequate stock.
• Optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Documentation and Compliance

• Prepare and maintain detailed records of shipping documents, invoices, and purchase orders.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations governing logistics and transportation.

Customer and Vendor Communication

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, and carriers regarding shipping inquiries and updates.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and service providers to foster collaboration and reliability.

Problem-Solving and Crisis Management

• Address logistical challenges such as damaged shipments, missed deadlines, or unexpected disruptions.
• Implement contingency plans to minimize operational downtime and maintain customer satisfaction.
