Instrument Technician (30-Day Shutdown Project – January 2025) Required in Dubai

The Instrument Technician for the 30-day shutdown project in January 2025 will be responsible for inspecting, testing, calibrating, and maintaining instrumentation and control systems critical to plant operations. This temporary role requires a skilled technician with expertise in instrumentation for large industrial or process facilities, who can work effectively within tight deadlines and ensure minimal downtime. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various instruments, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and quality in a high-pressure shutdown environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inspection and Calibration of Instrumentation Systems
   During the shutdown period, the Instrument Technician will be responsible for inspecting and calibrating all relevant instruments, including sensors, transmitters, control valves, and flow meters. You will assess the functionality and accuracy of these systems, ensuring they meet operational standards and comply with regulatory guidelines. Any adjustments needed to restore accuracy or function will be completed efficiently, minimizing delays in the project timeline.
2. Preventive Maintenance and Repairs
   A key responsibility in this role is to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on critical instrumentation to ensure operational reliability. Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or technical certification in Instrumentation, Electronics, or related field

• Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
