Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Outreach and Sales Generation
- Actively seek out and engage with potential customers through door-to-door visits, on-site meetings, and cold calling.
- Present and promote products or services to prospective clients, demonstrating their features and benefits effectively.
- Identify customer needs, provide suitable product recommendations, and persuade clients to make a purchase.
- Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets by building a robust pipeline of opportunities and closing sales deals.
2. Relationship Building and Client Management
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to provide after-sales support, gather feedback, and address any issues or concerns.
- Develop a deep understanding of the client’s business needs and tailor sales strategies to meet their specific requirements.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, offering ongoing assistance and maintaining a positive company image.
3. Market Research and Analysis
- Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities, industry trends, and competitor activities.
- Analyze customer feedback and market data to adjust sales strategies and enhance product offerings.
- Monitor market conditions and gather information on potential clients to understand their buying behaviors and preferences.
4. Product Knowledge and Demonstrations
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of the company’s products, including their features, specifications, and benefits.
- Provide product demonstrations to potential clients, explaining how the products meet their needs and solve their problems.
- Stay updated on new product launches, promotions, and industry developments to effectively communicate with customers.
5. Sales Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions in the company’s CRM system.
- Prepare and submit sales reports, including daily call logs, sales summaries, and market feedback, to the sales manager.
- Track progress against sales targets and KPIs, adjusting strategies as needed to meet goals.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as an outdoor or field salesperson, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours to meet client needs.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
