Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of various lifting equipment, including tower cranes, loose lifting gear, overhead cranes, baskets, forklifts, gantry cranes, cradles, gangways, accommodation ladders, hoists, trolleys, winches, containers, skips, and mobile cranes.
- Perform load testing and certification of lifting equipment at multiple locations across the UAE.
- Analyze inspection results and prepare detailed reports.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
- At least 2 years of experience in inspecting lifting equipment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 17020 & ISO 17024 standards for inspection and calibration.
- Proficiency in using inspection and testing equipment.
- Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards for lifting equipment.
- Experience with load testing procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in field conditions, often traveling to different locations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- LEEA certification (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) is a plus.
- Possession of a UAE driving license is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
