Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Quality Control Procedures: The QC Engineer will develop and implement quality control procedures for mechanical components and systems. The engineer will also review and update these procedures as needed to align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct Inspections and Testing: A major responsibility of the QC Engineer is to perform inspections and testing of mechanical components and systems. This involves using various measurement tools and testing equipment to evaluate product quality, functionality, and performance. The engineer will assess compliance with design specifications, standards, and regulations, and document the results of these inspections and tests.
- Identify and Resolve Quality Issues: The QC Engineer will identify any quality issues or defects in mechanical products and work to resolve them. This includes analyzing root causes of problems, coordinating with production teams to implement corrective actions, and ensuring that issues are addressed in a timely manner. The engineer will also monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Review and Analyze Quality Data: The engineer will review and analyze quality data, including inspection reports, test results, and defect trends. This involves compiling data into reports and identifying areas for improvement. Qualifications and Skills:
