Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy and Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s market presence.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure customer loyalty and repeat business.

2. Technical Expertise and Solution Selling

  • Understand client needs and provide tailored technical solutions that address their specific challenges.
  • Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to highlight product features, benefits, and applications.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and cost estimates, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company capabilities.

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their long-term goals and align solutions to meet their evolving needs.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

4. Collaboration and Teamwork

  • Work closely with the technical, engineering, and product development teams to ensure the feasibility and compatibility of proposed solutions.
  • Partner with the marketing team to develop and implement campaigns that generate leads and drive sales.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

5. Market Research and Insights

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities.
  • Analyze market data to forecast sales trends and develop strategies to capitalize on market shifts.
  • Share insights and feedback with the product team to influence product development and innovation.

6. Reporting and Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project progress using CRM tools.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
  • Ensure all documentation, including contracts and agreements, is complete and compliant with company policies.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in technical sales, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
  • Strong technical knowledge in the relevant industry (e.g., manufacturing, IT, telecommunications).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
