UPS Engineer (Uninterruptible Power Supply Engineer) Required in Oman

The UPS Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems in various environments, including commercial, industrial, and data center settings. This role involves ensuring the continuous operation of critical power systems, preventing downtime, and protecting against power interruptions. The UPS Engineer must have a deep understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and UPS technology to provide expert solutions and maintain high levels of reliability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation and Commissioning of UPS Systems
   The UPS Engineer will oversee the installation and commissioning of UPS systems, ensuring that all equipment is properly configured and integrated into the power infrastructure. This includes reading technical diagrams, following installation protocols, and coordinating with other engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation.
2. Preventative Maintenance and Inspections
   Regular maintenance of UPS systems is crucial to prevent unexpected power failures. The UPS Engineer will conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance to ensure that systems are functioning efficiently. This involves checking battery health, electrical connections, and system performance, and performing necessary repairs or replacements as needed.
3. Troubleshooting and Repair
   When UPS systems malfunction, the UPS Engineer will diagnose and resolve the issue quickly to minimize downtime. This includes troubleshooting electrical faults, battery failures, and inverter or rectifier issues, using specialized tools and testing equipment to pinpoint the cause of the problem.
4. System Upgrades and Optimization

• Proven experience as a UPS Engineer or in a related electrical engineering role

• Knowledge of industry safety standards and compliance regulations
