Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Development
- Supervise, guide, and motivate a team of sales representatives, ensuring they have the support and resources needed to meet and exceed their sales targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, set individual and team goals, and provide constructive feedback to foster skill development and improvement.
- Organize training sessions and workshops to enhance the team’s product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
Sales Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies, working closely with the sales team to reach monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Monitor sales metrics and analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities, adjusting strategies as needed to stay competitive in the market.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop promotional plans, pricing strategies, and customer engagement initiatives that drive sales.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers, addressing their needs promptly and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Identify potential new clients and work with the sales team to develop strategies for business expansion and customer acquisition.
- Resolve any customer issues or complaints that are escalated by the sales team, ensuring positive and long-lasting customer relationships.
Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and present sales reports to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and potential areas for improvement.
- Track and analyze sales performance, identifying trends and insights to refine sales strategies and improve team effectiveness.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of customer interactions, sales activities, and performance metrics for future reference and planning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Skills: Strong understanding of sales principles, excellent leadership and communication skills, proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Attributes: Results-oriented, proactive, strong problem-solving skills, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
