Key Responsibilities
1. Product Sales and Customer Service
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable marble and tile products based on preferences and specifications.
- Provide detailed information on product features, benefits, pricing, and installation options.
- Assist customers in making purchasing decisions and closing sales.
2. Order Management and Follow-Up
- Process customer orders accurately, ensuring timely and efficient order fulfillment.
- Follow up on orders to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and delivery teams to ensure products are delivered on time.
3. Product Knowledge and Market Trends
- Stay informed about the latest trends in the marble and tile industry, including new products, designs, and installation methods.
- Attend training sessions and product demonstrations to enhance product knowledge.
- Educate customers on the best uses for specific marble and tile products, including maintenance and care.
4. Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or excess inventory to management.
- Assist in inventory control and ensure proper stock rotation to maintain product availability.
- Ensure the showroom or sales floor is well-organized and products are displayed attractively.
5. Relationship Building and Networking
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, both new and existing, to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Network with contractors, designers, and other industry professionals to generate new sales leads.
- Attend industry events and showrooms to promote products and increase market visibility.
6. Sales Targets and Reporting
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Work with management to identify areas for improvement in sales processes or customer service.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales, marketing, or interior design is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the construction, home improvement, or interior design sectors.
- Strong knowledge of marble and tile products, their specifications, and installation methods.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using sales software, spreadsheets, and POS systems.
