Responsibilities

1. Event Planning and Coordination

The F&B / Banquet Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the setup and execution of banquet events. This includes liaising with event organizers to understand their requirements, ensuring that seating arrangements, table settings, and decorations meet their expectations, and coordinating with the kitchen to plan food service timing. They must ensure all equipment and supplies are in place and ready for the event. Proper planning is essential for the seamless execution of large-scale banquets.

2. Staff Supervision and Training

Supervising a team of banquet servers, bartenders, and other staff is a primary responsibility. The supervisor assigns tasks, provides guidance, and ensures that all team members are aware of their roles during the event. They also train new staff on service standards, proper food handling, and customer service techniques. During events, the supervisor monitors staff performance, ensuring that guests receive timely and professional service.

3. Customer Service and Guest Satisfaction

The F&B / Banquet Supervisor ensures that all guests are satisfied with their experience. This includes greeting guests, addressing any issues or special requests, and resolving problems that may arise during the event.
