Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support and Assistance:
- Provide technical support to project teams, including troubleshooting issues and resolving technical challenges.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of project-related equipment and systems.
- Support engineers and project managers in the development and execution of project plans.
- Project Coordination:
- Coordinate with different departments, vendors, and contractors to ensure that project tasks are completed according to schedule.
- Monitor project progress and report on the status of tasks to the project manager.
- Assist in organizing and scheduling project meetings, and maintain communication with all stakeholders.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including technical drawings, schematics, and project logs.
- Prepare reports on project progress, technical issues, and resolution steps for review by senior management.
- Ensure that all documentation meets company standards and is easily accessible to team members.
- Quality Control and Testing:
- Conduct quality control checks on materials, equipment, and installations to ensure they meet project specifications.
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of systems and components to verify proper operation.
- Document and report any discrepancies or issues found during testing and quality checks.
- Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure that all project activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in conducting safety assessments and implementing safety measures on project sites.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents to the project manager and take immediate action to mitigate risks.
- Material and Equipment Management:
- Assist in the procurement and management of materials, tools, and equipment needed for the project.
- Track inventory levels and ensure that all materials are available when needed.
- Coordinate the delivery and installation of materials and equipment at project sites.
- Project Implementation:
- Assist in the execution of project plans, including on-site work and technical installations.
- Provide hands-on support during the installation, testing, and commissioning phases of the project.
- Work closely with engineers and contractors to ensure that work is completed according to specifications.
- Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Develop and implement solutions to address technical challenges and keep the project on track.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or project managers as needed.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in project debriefs and post-project reviews to identify lessons learned.
- Suggest improvements to project processes and procedures based on experience and feedback.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies relevant to the project.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to achieve project goals.
- Share technical knowledge and expertise with team members to support their development.
- Foster a collaborative and positive working environment within the project team.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a technical role within project environments.
- Strong understanding of technical systems, tools, and equipment relevant to the project.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
