Key Responsibilities
1. Category Strategy and Planning
- Develop and execute category strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets.

- Create and manage category business plans, including product assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies.
2. Sales Management
- Collaborate with the sales team to drive category performance in retail outlets or distribution channels.
- Set sales targets for the category and ensure they are met or exceeded.
- Monitor sales data and provide actionable insights to improve category performance.
3. Product and Portfolio Management
- Oversee the product lifecycle within the category, including new product launches, discontinuations, and SKU rationalization.
- Ensure optimal stock levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to minimize stock-outs or excess inventory.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms and ensure product availability.
4. Promotional Planning and Execution
- Design and implement promotional campaigns to boost category sales and brand visibility.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of promotions and adjust strategies for future campaigns.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling in-store displays and advertising materials.
5. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers, suppliers, and internal teams.
