Rigging Supervisor Required in Qatar

A Rigging Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all rigging activities on a construction or industrial project. The role involves ensuring that all lifting operations are conducted safely and efficiently, with proper use of rigging equipment. The Rigging Supervisor must ensure that the team follows safety regulations and industry standards while also providing technical support and guidance to rigging personnel. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of rigging procedures, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervising Rigging Operations: The Rigging Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the entire rigging process, from planning to execution. This includes ensuring that all rigging operations are carried out according to project specifications and safety guidelines. The supervisor must coordinate with other departments, such as engineering and safety, to ensure that lifting tasks are completed efficiently and without incident.
2. Ensuring Safety Compliance: Safety is a critical aspect of rigging operations. The Rigging Supervisor must ensure that all personnel follow safety regulations, wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhere to company policies. The supervisor is also responsible for conducting safety briefings, risk assessments, and ensuring that all rigging activities comply with local and national safety standards.
