Key Responsibilities

1. Creating Electrical Drawings and Blueprints

• Develop detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts for infrastructure projects, including power distribution systems, lighting, and communication networks.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to translate conceptual designs into precise technical drawings that can be used for construction and installation.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD or Revit to produce accurate and clear drawings that meet industry standards and project requirements.

2. Coordination with Engineering Teams

• Work closely with civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams to integrate electrical systems into broader infrastructure plans.
• Ensure that electrical designs are compatible with other systems, such as plumbing, HVAC, and structural elements.
• Participate in design meetings and communicate with engineers to resolve any design conflicts or issues that arise during the drafting process.

3. Reviewing and Modifying Designs

• Review and revise electrical drawings based on feedback from engineers, project managers, or other stakeholders.
• Update drawings to reflect changes in project specifications, materials, or site conditions, ensuring that all modifications are documented accurately.
• Ensure that designs comply with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

4. Supporting Project Implementation

• Provide technical support during the construction phase, ensuring that contractors and technicians have access to accurate and updated electrical plans.
• Address any on-site issues related to electrical designs, offering guidance and clarification as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or degree in electrical engineering, drafting, or a related field.
