The Job:

This unique position combines three different metalworking areas. Here’s a breakdown of the responsibilities for each:

• Fabricator: You’ll ensure parts are made correctly by checking their size and quality. You’ll also be able to fix minor problems and keep your work area clean. Knowing about different materials, tools, and following blueprints is a must!
• Welder: Similar to the fabricator role, you’ll inspect welds for quality and size. You’ll also be able to fix minor welding issues and keep your workspace clean. Understanding welding tools, materials, and ideally being able to read blueprints is important!
• Lathe Machine Operator: If you enjoy precision machining, this role is for you! You’ll operate a lathe machine to create parts, ensuring they meet the required size and quality standards. Keeping the machine running smoothly, fixing minor problems, and cleaning your work area are also part of the job. Being familiar with cutting tools, materials, and reading blueprints is key!
