Keeping the Books Balanced: Responsibilities (Specific tasks may vary)

As a Junior Accountant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the company’s financial records are accurate and up-to-date. Your day-to-day might involve tasks like:

• Entering data into accounting software (like Tally or Zoho) accurately and efficiently.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable (paying bills and collecting payments).
• Following up with customers on outstanding invoices.
• Working with auditors to ensure smooth yearly audits.
• Filing Value Added Tax (VAT) and Zakat returns (religious tax).
• Assisting with managing warehouse operations (when needed).

We Need a Detail-Oriented Accountant: Qualifications

To be a great candidate for this role, you’ll ideally have:

• 2-3 years of experience as a Junior Accountant in Saudi Arabia or the GCC countries (Gulf Cooperation Council).
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (a Master’s degree is a plus).
• Knowledge of accounting software, especially Tally and Zoho (familiarity with Microsoft Excel is a must).
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A commitment to accuracy and a focus on detail.
