The Restaurant Hostess is responsible for warmly greeting guests as they arrive and escorting them to their tables. In this role, you will handle reservations and manage the waitlist during busy periods. This involves taking phone calls, scheduling table bookings, and efficiently organizing seating to optimize the dining room’s capacity. You will also communicate with guests about estimated wait times and ensure that their dining experience begins smoothly. - Customer Service and Guest Relations
As the hostess, you will be responsible for addressing guest inquiries and special requests, providing information about the restaurant, menu offerings, and any ongoing promotions. You will act as a liaison between the guests and the waitstaff, ensuring that any issues are promptly communicated and resolved. Your ability to make guests feel valued and attended to will contribute to their overall satisfaction. - Coordination with Staff
