Power Risk Engineer Required in Dubai

A Power Risk Engineer is responsible for evaluating and managing the risks associated with power systems, including generation plants, transmission networks, and distribution systems. This role requires a deep understanding of power engineering principles, risk management practices, and the regulatory environment. The Power Risk Engineer works closely with various stakeholders, including operations teams, financial analysts, and regulatory bodies, to ensure that all potential risks are identified and properly managed.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification in risk management is a plus.

• Experience: Several years of experience in power systems engineering, with a focus on risk management.

• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of power generation, transmission, and distribution; proficiency in risk assessment tools and methodologies.

• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex systems and data to identify and quantify risks.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with industry regulations and standards, such as NERC, FERC, and ISO guidelines.
