Key Responsibilities

1. Team Supervision and Development

• Supervise, train, and motivate retail staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide updates, and address concerns.
• Schedule staff shifts, manage workloads, and handle any staffing issues or conflicts.

2. Customer Service Excellence

• Ensure that all customers receive a high standard of service by addressing their needs and resolving complaints promptly.
• Train staff to deliver excellent customer service and handle difficult situations professionally.
• Monitor the sales floor to ensure customers are attended to effectively and efficiently.

3. Sales and Performance Monitoring

• Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends and recommend strategies for improvement.
• Collaborate with management to implement promotional campaigns and suggest ways to boost revenue.

4. Inventory Management

• Oversee stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment.
• Conduct regular stock checks and audits to prevent discrepancies and minimize loss.
• Organize displays and shelving to enhance product visibility and appeal.

5. Store Operations and Maintenance

• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
• Monitor the implementation of health and safety standards, including emergency procedures.
• Handle administrative tasks such as preparing reports, managing budgets, and maintaining records.

6. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making

• Address operational issues, such as equipment malfunctions or supply chain delays, in a timely manner.
• Make decisions regarding staffing, sales strategies, and store layout to optimize performance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for escalations and complex customer queries.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in a retail environment, with at least one year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff and customers.
• Proficiency in using retail management software and basic knowledge of inventory systems.
• Problem-solving abilities and a results-driven approach to achieving sales goals.
