Responsibilities:

1. Manage Financial Records

The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, invoices, receipts, and payments. The Accountant must compile these reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to provide management with a clear understanding of the company’s financial performance. 3. Ensure Compliance with Tax Laws and Regulations

Accountants are tasked with ensuring that the company complies with local, state, and federal tax regulations. This includes preparing tax returns, ensuring timely filing, and working to minimize tax liabilities while staying within legal boundaries.
